SESAME works closely with a
network of educational advisors in the local Chambers of
Agriculture and training institutions who look closely at
the educational value of our traineeships. These local
coordinators also participate in the host farmer's screening and
training processes.
One or two follow-up visits on the farm are planned depending on
the chosen program.
Those visits are usually done by former French trainees (supervisors).
The aim of those visits is to evaluate several points : evaluation of
hosting quality, the trainee's working condition (task realised, opportunity to meet people ...),
evaluation of the host by the trainee (vice versa). The visit is therefore divided into three
different moments : trainee alone - host alone - all together.
Each month, the trainee must send to the coordinator at SESAME a
short report explaining his or her training period progress
(report forms are provided by SESAME).
At the end of the traineeship, SESAME delivers, upon the trainee's request, a certificate of
professional and agricultural traineeship.
