Introduction

French farmers invite all the inbound trainees to discover diverse French productions and to live an unforgettable experience during a practical traineeship on a French farm.

Today, France is the number one tourist destination and number one in agricultural productions and exportations in Europe. 82% of the French territory is covered by agricultural and forestry areas. French farmers’ know-how, agronomic research and technological innovations ensure the richness and diversity of our lands and productions.

In France, trainees will find a wide range of agricultural farms from big national businesses to small family farms with mixed farming. Diversity, quality, and richness in productions are developed in various areas such as : fish farming, horticulture, tree nursery, crops and animal productions … Nowadays, French farmers are concerned with sustainable agriculture, including the respect of the landscape and the environment.

SESAME welcomes interns and gives them the opportunities to increase their vocational education. With a practical training period, they live with a French family and SESAME is there to follow them throughout their training period.
